Research Laboratory Services Pty Ltd (RLS) is an independent Australian laboratory specialising in evaluating PFAS treatment technologies and water treatment process performance. Under the leadership of the Managing Director and Principal Chemist Peta Thiel, they work with utilities, consultants, and technology providers to assess the effectiveness of granular activated carbon (GAC), ion-exchange resins (IEX), and other treatment approaches through laboratory and pilot-scale studies.

RLS has more than 20 years of experience in the water industry, providing trusted third-party data and practical insights to support evidence-based decision-making across the full treatment lifecycle, from technology selection and optimisation through to media management and end-of-life considerations.
